March 2010 Update: Fashion Philanthropy will be closing shop this year. Due to the current drop in pricing below our costs, we will no longer be able to donate to our non-profits to the extent that we have been able to before. However, we will still be donating a smaller percentage of sales to the top three charities chosen by our patrons during this time.

Fashion Philanthropy's mission is to provide its patrons with an eclectic mix of women's fashions from a carefully selected group of designers who are charitable, socially responsible and/or eco friendly and sustainable in their practices. We are woman-owned and operated and based in Richmond, VA. We believe in giving back... that whenever we receive, we should give. Therefore, we give a portion of proceeds to a charity of your choice. It is important to us that you are involved in the giving part of your shopping experience here at philanthrofashion.com. Upon our inception in November 2008, we researched and put together a list of a variety of the best charities to support. We have chosen charities based on third party ratings and recommendations based on expenditures versus impact. It is very important to us that our designers and manufacturers have a similar mission to our own. We have compiled descriptions for each of our designers for you to enjoy, so that you are knowlegable of the products you are purchasing and from where they came.
